Appearance
Kuro is a young teenage girl with short dark hair. She is mostly seen in her school uniform. As a Magical Girl, her outifit consists of a very short, shoulder length, white cloak with a hood, decorated with white fluffy material. The hood is also decorated with a single pink stripes, and a pink bow. She wears a chocolate brown jumpsuit with short legs and white thrills. She also wears bulky brown gloves and boots decorated with pink bows. She appears to have a brown bunny like tail.
Personality
From Kuroe's perspective, Kuro is someone during the series' events who exists only to haunt Kuroe for her past and for abandoning her.
The real Kuro, however, is a kind and caring girl who wishes to do her best at whatever she does so she can put smiles on everyone's faces. She feels nervous for actions she may take that won't have good results and usually takes the blame.
Etymology
Kuro (くろ?) when in Kanji, it means "black".[1]
History
In episode 19, while Kuroe is fighting some Black Feathers at Hotel Fenthope, she releases her Doppel but a mysterious figure appears to haunt her, doubting if Kuroe can actually save Iroha. After she defeats the Feathers, Kuro asks Kuroe if she remembers her.
When escaping from Fenthope, the mysterious girl appears to Kuroe again, asking if she is in need of her help; even though Kuroe abandoned her in the past. Kuroe denies this and claims she never abandoned anyone.
In episode 21, after finding a way out, Kuroe finds the Mikazuki Villa team at a distance, with Kuro appearing once again; this time taunting Kuroe for her desire to join them. She claims Kuroe is not like Iroha, as she did nothing to help her when she was in need. She also tells Kuroe that she has no right to join the story, and that it is best for her to be forgotten.
In episode 23, she is shortly seen burdening Kuroe for one more time while Kuroe walks away from Hotel Fenthope.
In episode 24, Kuro makes her first actual appearance. She is seen fighting Slave of Anima with Kuroe. Kuro mostly focused on saving the cat. After the Witch flees. Kuro thanks Kuroe for saving her and explains that she's not from Takarazaki City. She is then taught some rules about Magical Girls' territories and apologizes. She also asks Kuroe if she has extra Grief Seeds with her, with Kuroe replying that she has none. Kuro finds this logical that Magical Girls obviously don't have extra Grief Seeds but promises that she'll work hard to get enough Grief Seeds for everyone.
Relationships
- Kuroe: Kuroe met Kuro while they were fighting Slave of Anima. Kuroe thinks Kuro is far weaker than her but appreciates how Kuro promises to give it her best.
- Iroha Tamaki: Kuro knows Iroha because they go to the same school.

- There is some confusion regarding her home place. In episode 25, it is mentioned that she's not from Takarazaki but in the game it is shown that she attends Takarazaki First Middle School.
