"Proof", is an unreleased song by Madison Beer. It was intended to be on her debut album, "Life Support", however it was later scrapped. Beer shared a snippet of it on an instagram live. In the same live-stream she said the song was written about the movie The Truman Show.
Background
Snippets of the song began to surface in 2020, and the full song was leaked July 3, 2021. Eventually, 4 demos of the song went to leak.
Beer's team really liked the song and wanted it on the album.[1]

Lyrics
[Verse 1]
I've seen sunsets and I've seen rain
I've known heartbreak and I've known fame
I've seen shit that'd make an atheist believe
But that's not enough evidence for me
I've heard thunder that sounds like pain
Thousands of voices screaming my name
I've seen shit that'd make an atheist believe
But that's not enough evidence for me
[Chorus]
Started to feel like everything was fabricated
You came along and then you gave me confirmation
Your love is so unreal it must be something science-fiction
Babe, oh babe
And that's proof enough for me
[Post-Chorus]
That's proof enough for me, oh babe (Yeah)
[Verse 2]
I've seen movies and I've seen shows
But nothing compares to what I call home
I've seen cameras fall out of the sky
But I never once thought my life was a lie
And I've seen some shit that got me all suspicious
Your words are so sweet they sound like they're so scripted
I've seen shit that'd make an atheist believe
But that's not enough evidence for me
[Chorus]
Started to feel like everything was fabricated
You came along and then you gave me confirmation
Your love is so unreal it must be something science-fiction
Babe, oh babe
And that's proof enough for me
[Post-Chorus]
That's proof enough for me, oh babe (Yeah, yeah)
And that's proof enough for me
That's proof enough for me, oh babe (Yeah, yeah)
[Outro]
Was that correct?
Trivia
- Similar to Dear Society, there is an "easter egg" at the end of the song where Beer says "Was that correct?". It is heard the clearest in the demo verisons.
