Quark (白竜ファイディ hakuryū faidei, "White Dragon Fydee") is one of the characters from Lunar: The Silver Star, Lunar: Silver Star Story, Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar Legend.
In 'Lunar The Silver Star', 'Silver Star Story', and 'Silver Star Harmony'
At the start of the game, Alex, Ramus and Luna sneak into his cave in the south of Burg, in the hopes that Ramus can acquire one of the Dragon Diamonds and sell it, but they both end up meeting the dragon. Despite the implication that the Diamonds are his feces[1], Quark still gives them the diamond, since Alex had passed the White Dragon's Trial on his path to becoming a Dragonmaster.

Quark's Ultimate Fate
Ultimately, across all versions of Lunar the Silver Star, Quark would perish. How is distinct between the original game and the remakes.
In TSS, Alex and Nall lead Ghaleon to Quark, unaware of Ghaleon's evil intent. Quark is surprised to see Ghaleon, commenting they hadn't seen in a long time. Ghaleon then reveals he blames the Four Dragons and Althena for Dyne's death, and his intent to overthrow them and rule Lunar before killing Quark. With his final breath, Quark tells Alex he must become a Dragonmaster to stop Ghaleon.
In the remakes, Luna is present when the group meets Quark. Quark reacts much as he did in The Silver Star, Ghaleon asks Quark if Luna is the child born on the day Dyne 'perished', which Quark reluctantly confirms after Ghaleon insists, under the pretenses of 'dark forces' threatening the world. Ghaleon would then declare his intent to rule Lunar before seemingly transforming into the Magic Emperor.
The now armored Ghaleon would fire a powerful spell at Quark, seemingly destroying him before kidnapping Luna and departing. It isn't revealed until Alex's group enters the Grindery that Ghaleon and the Vile Tribe had in fact captured and enslaved the Four Dragons to use them to power his fortress when they find Quark's head, the only part of the dragon that is visible, connected and held in place by an unnerving number of cables. It is implied that Quark died within the walls of the Grindery once the Fortress served its purpose after Ghaleon defeats the party and takes the corrupted Luna to Althena's Azure Fortress.
