The croaking gorcrows

Gorcrows were a legendary, potentially apocryphal species of carrion-birds related to crows, whom of which made habitat in the same irriguous marshes as the Mewlips. They lived near the Mewlips because they would eat the scraps of meat left by the Mewlips. The gorcrows were mentioned briefly during a passing in the poem The Mewlips, compiled into the 16-poem collection of The Adventures of Tom Bombadil.[1][2]
