The Giant Key is one the Keys created by Benjamin Locke.
History

Benjamin Locke created the Giant Key on July 4th, 1775[1] and used it to murder a group of Redcoats.[2]
In 1915, when John Locke committed suicide by using the Anywhere Key to flood Keyhouse with the sea water from the wreck of the Titanic. Chamberlin Locke used the Giant Key to stop the flooding by breaking through the tower window with his finger and closing the door.[3]
Tyler and Bode discovered the key while Tyler chased Bode through the house, hidden in the floor of a living room and covered by a carpet.[4] Tyler later used the Key to defeat Dodge while he was encased in a giant shadow. Tyler was easily able to fish out the Crown of Shadows in the ocean water, which had fallen of Dodge's head during the fight. [5] Tyler placed the crown on top the lighthouse, so no one could easily have access to it.
In February, Bode and Jason Bird used the Giant Key to 'play cars'.[6] In May, Dodge, in Bode's body, used the Giant Key to retrieve the Crown of Shadows from the lighthouse and destroyed the structure, possibly killing the family living there.[7]
Uses
The key increases the user's size to giant proportions. The key is also giant, the largest key. According to Joe Hill the key is approx. six feet in length. [8]
Door
The door to the Giant Key is found in the same living room the key was found in. It is a giant window with an image similar to that on the key.[4] When the person enters the door, the side of Keyhouse opens up to let the person out.[9]

Trivia
- The official Skelton Crew Studios replica of the Giant Key was downsized to about 1:15 its actual size.[10] The reason behind this was because it was determined that it would be too expensive to create and mail a life-sized replica. Skelton Crew Studios said in an interview that shipping alone from Maine to California costed $160 USD.[11]
- Israel Skelton stated via Twitter that only 2 life-sized replicas of the Giant Key were made. One was given to Joe Hill the other Skelton Crew Studios kept.[12]
