Weeds are items that grow in Your Town every few days. They can be harvested and have the primary purpose to be sold at the Marketplace. Gathering them gives 1 Gathering experience.
The base value of selling 1x Weeds is 20. The base value of purchasing 1x Weeds from the Dust Shop is 45, calculated as (base value + shop markup value}}. The base value of purchasing 1x Weeds from the General Shop at the ultimate upgrade rank is 60, calculated as (base value * 3 (shop markup value)). Purchasing a town wish to increase the sale price of Weeds will increase the sale price at the Marketplace, but will also increase the base value of the purchase price at the Dust Shop and the General Shop at the ultimate upgrade rank by an equivalent amount.
Acquisition
Weeds can be obtained in the following methods:
- Grown in Your Town every few days, to a maximum of 30 at any one time.
- Can be purchased at the Dust Shop starting at the base-rank for 45.
- Can be purchased at the General Shop starting at the ultimate upgrade rank for 60.
- Can be purchased at the Item Merchant starting at the ultimate upgrade rank for 100.
- Can be won in the Lucky Slots game at the Casino starting at the base rank.
- Can be won in the Wheel of Loot game at the Casino starting at the base rank.
- Can be obtained as a daily reward from the Museum's Researcher Chest starting at the ultimate upgrade rank.
- Has a chance to be obtained in the "The Lightning Mages!", "The Mining Guild", and "Return of the Fishfolk" Events.
- Has a 1/6 chance to drop from daily Bird spawns.
- Can be obtained from a Deluca Present.
- Has a chance to be obtained from a regular Gobby, a Gobby Traveler, or a Gobby Merchant visitor.
- Can be obtained when using an axe anywhere when the Gilded Axe Statue is constructed in Your Town.
- Can be obtained when using a pickaxe anywhere when the Gilded Pickaxe Statue is constructed in Your Town.
Usage
Weeds can be used in the following recipes. In addition, it can be sold for 20 at the Marketplace. It is part of the East Wing "Misc. A Room" Collection in the Museum.
