Varya arrived at the mountain pass that led to the Tree of Life, only to be attacked by Makucha's army. Just in time, they were rescued by the Lion Guard and the Night Pride. Varya explained that she was trying to get to the Tree of Life to raise her cubs, and Rani said that the decision was up to Janna. Just then, the Night Pride and Kion were called away.

Later, the tiger family learned that Janna had died, which left Rani as the new queen of the Tree of Life. Varya requested that Rani let them stay, and Rani obliged. Afterward, she took the tigers to a snowy area, where they were accepted by Kiril and his herd.

The tiger family attended Rani's coronation.[1]
