The Mekundu Cliffs are a large barrier of dull, sandy rock that stretch throughout a portion of the Pride Lands.

The Lion Guard
"Can't Wait to be Queen"
While serving as acting queen, Kiara uses Ono in place of Zazu for the morning report, and he informs her that the Pride Lands are in order from Mekundu Cliffs to Ukuni Woods.
"Too Many Termites"
After the Lion Guard obliviously exiles aardwolves, not hyenas from the Pride Lands, the kingdom becomes infested with termites. Several trees in Mekundu Cliffs are overcome by termites, and Ono warns the Lion Guard that one is about to collapse with bats inside.
The team races to Mekundu Cliffs, where they manage to wake up the bats. No sooner have the bats flown away when all the nearby trees collapse from the termite invasion. Kion decides to take the problem to his father, Simba, who suggests that the team find the aardwolves to stop the problem.
"Janja's New Crew"
After a giant rainstorm hits the Pride Lands, a mudslide blocks up the trail from Big Springs to Mekundu Cliffs. The Lion Guard attempts to prevent Pride Landers from using the trail, and though they succeed in warning off Twiga, Thurston ignores their warnings and gets stuck in the mud.
"Ono's Idol"
While in a tall tree, Bunga spots Mekundu Cliffs in the distance.
"The Queen's Visit"
Kiara takes Dhahabu to Mekundu Cliffs as part of her tour of the Pride Lands.
