The Lion Guard arrived at Dragon Island, where they were in awe of the ocean. Bunga started to play in the waves when he was swept out to sea. However, he was rescued by Lumba-Lumba, who explained how much she loved the ocean. The Lion Guard bid her farewell and set off toward the island.

After Kion's Roar of the Elders caused the waters around the island to recede, the team found Lumba-Lumba beached on the sand. They vowed to help her and started to dig a tunnel from her to the ocean. However, in the middle of the project, they were attacked by Komodo dragons. Lumba-Lumba briefly assisted Bunga in fighting them off.
After the fight, Makini explained that they could not leave the island since Kion's Roar had destroyed the land bridge. Kion then used his Roar to create a path through the waters. The resulting waves washed Lumba-Lumba back to sea, and she thanked them for saving her.[1]
