Hitashi is a male snow monkey. He is a member of Yuki's troop. He is the mate of Yuki, with whom he has a son, Nabasu, and a daughter, Kimyo.
When the Lion Guard journeyed through the mountains, they inadvertently caused an avalanche that destroyed Hitashi and his family's hot spring. To remedy the mistake, the Lion Guard offered to find them a new home. However, while searching, Hitashi and his family fell into a deep hole in the snow and had to be rescued by Anga. Afterward, the Lion Guard led the snow monkeys to a new hot spring.
Biography
Early life
Hitashi lived in the mountains. He became mates with Yuki, with whom he had two children: Nabasu and Kimyo. The family took up residence in a hot spring.[1]
New home

Hitashi and his family were relaxing in their hot spring when Anga approached and asked for directions. The snow monkeys panicked, throwing their food at her until she backed off. Shortly afterward, Kion's Roar of the Elders caused an avalanche that buried the troop's home. Hitashi was rescued by Beshte. After the disaster, Kion offered to help the family find a new home. Together, the Lion Guard and the snow monkeys journeyed to the nearest hot spring.
Later, Hitashi and his family wandered off and fell into a deep hole in the snow. Anga managed to rescue them despite their fear of her. Afterward, she helped lead them to a new home.[1]
Physical appearance
Hitashi is a large snow monkey. He has cream-colored fur, with a pink face and ears, brown hands and feet, and gray eyebrows. His eyes are brown.[1]
Personality and traits
Hitashi is mild-mannered and does not speak much. He is also amiable and compliant.[1]
