The foxhound is a male hound.
When the foxhound initiated a game of tag with a fox, Timon and Pumbaa mistook their game for a real hunt. Because of this, they took the fox under their protection and resisted the foxhound's many attempts to tag him. Eventually, when the foxhound caught up to the fox, their game was revealed, and Timon and Pumbaa angrily chased down the fox for the deception.
Biography
Early life
The foxhound lived in Great Britain.[1]
Tag with the fox

Timon rescued the fox from several foxhounds. After he showed the fox to Pumbaa, the two friends tried to hide him. When they could not find a good hiding place, Pumbaa suggested that they hide him in their suitcase. Timon and Pumbaa then acted natural while the foxhounds and their owners passed by.
Timon and Pumbaa were relieved that they had outsmarted the foxhounds. However, they soon ran into another foxhound, who believed that he was better at fox-hunting than the other foxhounds. He began to sniff around the hiding places Timon and Pumbaa had decided not to use for the fox. When the foxhound asked Timon and Pumbaa what was in their suitcase, they replied that they did not see a suitcase. They then fled with the case, and the foxhound chased them.

Timon and Pumbaa entered a maze but kept getting followed by the foxhound. They put various smelly objects around the maze to distract the foxhound while they tried to escape. Timon saw that they could not find a way out, but Pumbaa told him that when they had entered the maze, he had placed a yarn outside and pulled the string around with them so that they would not get lost. When Timon and Pumbaa exited the maze, they heard the foxhound saying that he was lost, which made them happy to have outwitted him.
Just then, the foxhound found his way out of the maze and ran into Timon and Pumbaa. The pals fled and hid in a foggy area. As they were checking on the fox, delighted by how cute he was, the foxhound found them and grabbed the suitcase. However, Timon hit him with the goggles he was wearing, which made the foxhound let go. Timon and Pumbaa escaped with the suitcase, then taunted the foxhound as he was looking for them in the fog.

The foxhound removed the fog with a fan and found Timon and Pumbaa, who tried to escape him by getting inside a taxi. While Timon and Pumbaa once again admired the fox's cuteness, the foxhound found them by using a truck. Timon and Pumbaa tried to escape the foxhound by hiding in various places, including a jet and a submarine, but the foxhound continuously found and outsmarted them. Timon and Pumbaa then hid in a castle and locked the foxhound out. The foxhound attempted to get in the castle, only to be outsmarted by Timon and Pumbaa. As the foxhound attacked, Timon and Pumbaa released a dragon to attack the foxhound. The foxhound, however, defeated the dragon with a fire extinguisher, which made the dragon no longer able to breath fire.
Knowing that Timon and Pumbaa were out of food, water, and ammunition, and could not remain in the castle much longer, the foxhound asked them to surrender, else he would continue to lay siege to the castle. Timon claimed that he could stay in the castle for a long time. The foxhound, therefore, decided to take up residence next to the castle while continuing his attacks. Timon instantly gave up and decided to give the fox to the foxhound, stating that the fox was not that cute. However, when he opened the suitcase, he and Pumbaa saw the fox trying to chase a butterfly, which made Pumbaa state that he really was that cute.

Timon and Pumbaa then saw that the foxhound was gone. In his place was a big gift, which Timon believed was a tribute to his cleverness, while Pumbaa believed it was a trick. Timon took the gift to the castle, but he and Pumbaa found the foxhound hiding inside. The two friends got back to the top of the castle, piling large furniture against the trapdoor, and tried to escape but saw that the castle was surrounded by piranhas. The foxhound entered the top of the castle. With no means of escape, Timon and Pumbaa gave up.
The foxhound opened the suitcase and found the fox, who trembled in fear. Suddenly, it was revealed that the fox and the foxhound had actually been playing a game of tag and that the fox was actually an adult. Timon and Pumbaa got mad at the fox for taking advantage of them and, as payback, decided to chase him themselves.[1]
Physical appearance
The foxhound is tall and slender. He has brown fur, with a gray chest, a red nose, and black eyes. He wears a blue collar with a golden tag.[1]
Personality and traits
The foxhound is a clever and talented hunter. Due to his sniffing ability, he cannot be escaped from or outsmarted, as he is able to find his victims no matter where they try to hide and can come up with ways to get to their hiding spots. He is also quite persistent in getting what he wants, as shown during his chase with Timon and Pumbaa. When Timon and Pumbaa hid in a castle and refused to surrender, the foxhound was willing to lay siege to their hiding place. He can be aggressive and vicious, as shown when he growled at Timon and Pumbaa after their final attempt to escape him, which caused the duo to surrender.[1]
