Foxes are a species of animal native to the Pride Lands and the Tree of Life. They are preyed upon by leopards, porcupines, and snow leopards.

History

Kiara's presentation

Foxes attended the presentation of Kiara at Pride Rock.[1]

Poa the Destroyer

When Beshte went to check on the residents of the Tree of Life, Astuto spotted his approach and recognized him as the rumored menace "Poa." She hid, during which she witnessed Beshte accidentally run over and destroy her den. Pinguino then reported the incident to Baliyo and Rani. Later, when Beshte attempted to befriend Astuto, she fled from him. However, after Pinguino cleared Beshte's name, Astuto cheered him on alongside the other animals at the Tree of Life.[2]

Battle for the Tree of Life

One day, Makucha's army launched an attack on the Tree of Life. The various animals of the Tree of Life, including Astuto, got chased by the predators until Kion arrived and defeated the army with the Roar of the Elders.[3]

Physical characteristics

Foxes are long-bodied, slender creatures. Their coats are primarily blue-gray, with sections of brown and white. They have long, sharp snouts and paws that are good for digging.[2]

Sociocultural characteristics

Foxes live in woodland areas, such as the forest section of the Tree of Life. They live in underground burrows.[2]
