Club Ted! is a club of ground squirrels, all of whom are named "Ted." They reside in the jungle.
One day, the Teds stole Timon and Pumbaa's favorite napping spot and declared that only those who were named "Ted" could join their ranks. Desperate to be accepted into the club, Timon and Pumbaa performed various tasks assigned to them by the Teds. Eventually, they got fed up and led a savage lion to the club. Furious that the Teds had been sending Timon and Pumbaa to bother him, he attacked them, and Timon and Pumbaa finally gave up on their ambitions to join the club.
History
Encounter with Timon and Pumbaa
One day, while Timon and Pumbaa were relaxing next to a pond under a shady tree, the Teds showed up, took over the spot, and built a fence. They then kicked the duo out and established a club called "Club Ted." The blue Ted informed Timon and Pumbaa that they were not welcome in their club unless their names were "Ted."
Getting an idea, Timon knocked on the door of the fence and told the Teds that both his and Pumbaa's names were "Ted." The Teds told the pair that, in order to join their club, they had to perform an "initiation task." They then ordered Timon and Pumbaa to put jingly bells around the neck of a savage lion who lived in Savage Rock. Secretly, the Teds were hoping that the lion would eat them both.
After Timon and Pumbaa successfully convinced the lion to put on the jingly bells, they told the Teds that they had completed the task, to the ground squirrels' surprise and dismay. The Teds then suggested that Timon and Pumbaa prove their claim. Upon retrieving the jingly bells, the duo returned to the Teds, only for the ground squirrels to make up another task for them to perform. This time, they instructed the duo to put a suit on the savage lion. Despite their annoyance at being given another task to execute, Timon and Pumbaa agreed to do it.
After getting a suit on the lion, Timon and Pumbaa returned to the Teds, injured and annoyed. The Teds started to request that Timon and Pumbaa prove that the lion was wearing the suit, but they refused to do so and revealed that they had brought the lion with them. Realizing that it was the Teds who had been sending Timon and Pumbaa to bother him, the lion started attacking them. Meanwhile, Timon told Pumbaa that he would never join a club that would not accept him as a member, and Pumbaa agreed.[1]
