Acacia Grove (also known as the acacia savanna) is a grove in the Pride Lands. It is the home of Twiga and her herd.
Description
Acacia Grove is an area of relatively flat land. It is composed primarily of acacia trees, for which it is named. It is the home and feeding ground of Twiga and her herd, who feed on acacia leaves.
History
The Lion Guard
"The Rise of Makuu"
When Makuu forces several animals out of their habitats, the antelope and zebras move into Acacia Grove, driving out the giraffes.
"The Kilio Valley Fire"
When Kilio Valley is devastated by a fire, Ma Tembo and her herd are forced to live elsewhere in the Pride Lands. Kion asks Twiga permission for the elephants to reside with her herd in Acacia Grove, and she reluctantly agrees. However, after the elephants start tearing branches off the acacia trees in order to feed, Twiga insists that they must move elsewhere.
"Fire from the Sky"
Under Scar's orders, Mzingo and his parliament set fire to Acacia Grove. The Lion Guard arrives in time to put out the fire and rescue Twiga and her herd.
