Somersault (ヴァンサマー, Van Sama) is the first Art learned by Vahn, taught to him through his martial arts instructor, the Biron Warrior-Monk, Tetsu.
Overview
Vahn first learns this attack through training with Tetsu on the shore of Rim Elm. Tetsu teaches him how to master the technique and performs it on Vahn himself before Vahn demonstrates the somersault technique back on him. Using normal methods, Vahn can perform the somersault three times in one turn, just like Tetsu. However, Tetsu often chooses to use the somersault attack 3 times in a row, whereas Vahn uses a high and a low kick in between each successive somersault.
The somersault attack is performed by jumping into a backflip, kicking the opponent's jaw before landing back on the feet.
