Summary
Agni protects Brilith, Leez and Mirha from an attack. He retaliates and tries to strike the attacker, and destroys the nearby mountain in the process. Brilith asks if he was able to track the attacker, Agni tells her that they didn't evade but disappeared.
In the temple, Agwen asks Brilith how someone could disappear from Agni's sight, Brilith figures it should be impossible. Rana fears for the priestess' life, and suggests that she remains with Agni at all times. Brilith expresses discomfort at the idea.
Outside, Agwen tells Rana that she isn't able to understand why Brilith is uncomfortable around Agni, as she would be grateful to be able to summon the god. Rana speculates that Brilith may have developed feelings for Agni, and Agwen backs up that theory by saying that Brilith turned down all the bachelors she introduced her to.
Brilith appears via the Staff of Agni's teleportation skill and shuts the two women's conversation down. She recalls a conversation with Rana - where she hinted towards a crush on Agni - five years ago and goes on to say that five years is enough time to change one's feelings. Though that isn't the case for Rana, as she crushed on Ran since she was a child. The priestess then turns to Agwen and compares what she said about her and Agni's relationship to Agwen and Kasak's. She says that she would love to have a father, as hers died. Before she leaves, she tells Agwen that she came to Kalibloom to see her father, and she shouldn't be wasting her time gossiping about others. Rana tries to apologize to Agwen, saying that although her tongue may be sharp, she doubts Brilith meant what she said. Agwen tells her that it doesn't matter, as what she said was true.
Elsewhere, Mirha informs Leez and Agni that Siera disappeared after wanting to talk with Leez. Agni wonders if he should've used a stronger transcendental to trap the Earth Priest, and Leez asks if he could've been connected to the earlier attack. Agni doubts that theory, as he would've lured him out of the barrier. That reminds Mirha that Teo was to deliver documents addressed to Agni, but also vanished.
Agni goes to Gandharva's holding cell, and asks him if Teo had visited him. Gandharva replies that she only came once in the afternoon, but not near sunset as Agni asked. Before Agni can leave, Gandharva asks him what he knows about the Hoti Visnu reversal.

<image: lonely planet> Willarv
It looks like a pretty marble. Back in the day, colorful marbles were sold at the stationery shop next to school... Are they still being sold?
Darby: Yes, I was collecting them two years ago.
<image: thieves, again> Agni, the destroyer of the environment
Since the altitude of the Temple of Earth is 9050m (29691.6'), the highest peak on Willarv is even higher... I meant to say, was higher.
<image: Agwen discussing Brilith's failed dates> Well, technically, they're all single...
I wonder what Agwen's standard for "decent" is?
Note: In Korean, Agwen says she introduced Brilith to several "decent" guys. In English it was translated as "eligible" guys.
<image: gathering on the mountain peak> It's the kind of place where I'd end up frozen if I went there.
This particular story development made me so sorry for those who had high hopes for a cute interaction between Leez and Mirha. T_T T_T
But since this isn't the time for cute interactions...
Notes
- Chandra mentioned back in Episode 3-72 that Agni can use the power of the local star to attack anywhere on the planet, but it would give his summoner a headache. After this attack is over, Brilith holds her head as if she has a sudden headache.[1]
- The three men referenced by Agwen as being the prospects whom she introduced to Brilith are Lutz, Siera, and Claude. They also happen to be all the single male priests of Willarv.
- For reference, the height of Mount Everest is 8848m (29,029 feet)
