The Catbots are Mechanikat's artifical minions in Krypto the Superdog (TV Series). They first appear in Puss in Space Boots, usually between one and three at once.
Those automata are voiced by Terry Klassen.
Physical Appearance
Each Catbot is a large bipedal feline-shaped robot with orange and yellow paintjob, red eyes with black irises, a black nose, a tooth or two protruding from the lowerjaw, and a robot tail. In addition, a light bulb is placed on the top of a cranium.
Personality
As one can expect from an automaton, every Catbot obeys commands issued by Mechanikat. When Mechanikat is not present, the Catbots obey Snooky Wookums's commands.
Their artificial intelligence seems far from perfect, since Catbots execute commands in pretty clumsy way. The lightbulbs on their craniums are their main weak spots - when the bulb is crushed, the Catbot becomes effectively incapacicated. A contact with exposed electricity source renders them helpless as well, which is shown in Solar Specs episode, when two of the Catbots get disabled while trying to slam Stretch-O-Mutt bouncing at the consoles. When Krypto and Streaky have their superpowers on disposal, they can easily handle the Catbots by goading them into hitting themselves.
