Bud and Lou are villain characters in Krypto the Superdog. They are the pet hyenas of The Joker. and are the enemies of Ace the Bat-Hound and Krypto. They are voiced by Peter Kelamis, and Lee Tockar. respectively.

They excel at setting dangerous traps and are not intimidated by Ace or Krypto. They have also battled Streaky the Supercat. Since they both look the same, Bud, wears a purple collar and Lou, wears a green collar. They once teamed up with Isis.

Appearance

They are 2 hyena dogs with red fur, with black spots, a short furry tail, and mouth, and purple and green collars.

Trivia

• They are similar to the Disney secondary villains from the Lion King: Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, the Spotted Hyenas.
• They are also similar to Disney secondary villains Roscoe and DeSoto from Oliver & Company, the Dobermans.
• They are based off the hyenas belonging to Harley Quinn, the Joker's girlfriend, from the Batman animated series.
• The reason why the hyenas are colored red is that they are based off of Hardy Har Har The Hyena, who is also colored red. Reason why the creators did it, is to just make it look more Hanna-Barbera like style.
