Youha (유하) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. She made her debut on September 29, 2020 with her digital single "Island".

Career

Pre-debut

She was firstly introduced as a member of the pre-debut team known as Future 2NE1 back in 2012, that was supposed to debut sometime in 2016. But for unknown reasons the debut was cancelled, so she continued the training process.

Sometime in 2019 it was reported that she left YG Entertainment after 9 years of being a trainee under the label.

2020: New agency, solo debut with "Island"

On September 25, it was revealed that Im Soo Ah had signed with Universal Music Korea and would be making her official solo debut on September 29 with the digital single "Island" under the stage name Youha.[1]

2024: Departure from Universal Music Korea

On March 5, 2024, Universal Music Korea announced that Youha's contract expired as of February.[2]
