The Winning is the sixth mini album by IU. It was released on February 20, 2024 with "Shopper" and "Holssi" serving as the album's double title tracks.
"Love Wins All" was pre-released on January 24, 2024.
The physical album comes in two versions: I Win and U Win.
Background
On December 5, 2023, EDAM Entertainment confirmed that IU will be releasing an album in the first half of 2024.[1] On January 30, 2024, IU unveiled the mood film for her sixth mini album The Winning, set to be released on February 20.[2]
Reception
Critical reception
The Winning was ranked #2 on the Billboard's top 25 best K-Pop albums of 2024 list.[3]
Commercial performance
On February 21, The Winning reached #1 on the iTunes Top Albums charts in 15 regions. Songs from the album also hit #1 on Melon's Top 100 and Hot 100, Genie, and Bugs.[4]
