Red Queen (레드퀸) was a four-member fictional project girl group under the fictional entertainment company Y Entertainment. They were created for the television drama The IDOLM@STER.KR in which they were the rival group of Real Girls Project.
History
In April 2016, it was announced that Lee Su Ji, Jo So Jin, Lee Ga Eun, Kim Sun Young and Han Hye Ri have been cast in the upcoming television drama The IDOLM@STER.KR as members of the fictional girl group Red Queen, the rival group of Real Girls Project.[1][2][3]
Their three group songs "Super Girl Magic", "Acacia" and "Attention" were released as part of the drama soundtrack in "The IDOLM@STER.KR OST Part.3" on May 22, 2017.
Story
Created by famous producer Kang Shin Hyeok, Red Queen is a popular four-member girl group under Y Entertainment. Formed of members Lee Su Ah, Jo Hye Ju, Ryu Mi Na and Han Ye Ri. During the peak of their career, leader Lee Su Ah passed away in a sudden car accident leading Red Queen to go on a hiatus for a year. They eventually returned to perform as a new girl group with member Jo Hye Ju as the new leader and new member Chae Na Kyung.
They are the rivals of 825 Entertainment's girl group Real Girls Project, whom they are at odds with. Red Queen's members treat them disrespectfully as their seniors in the industry, particularly Chae Na Kyung who most often clashes with Real Girls Project members.
