Polar (폴라) is an independent South Korean singer-songwriter. He is a former member of the boy group HOTSHOT.
On July 22, 2019, he made his solo debut with the digital single "Fool" under his full name Choi Junhyuk (최준혁).
The name 'polar' is derived from the desire for one's own song to be remembered like a Polaroid photo. The name is taken from the Polaroid camera, symbolizing the wish for the song to be etched in memory like a Polaroid picture.

- He often write handwritten letters and frequently post them on the fan cafe. It's mentioned that he also shop for letter paper. Occasionally, through 'Junhyuk's Love Letter,' they have sent handwritten letters to fans who were selected as winners.
