Hong Eunchae (홍은채; or simply Eunchae) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and MC under Source Music. She is the maknae of the girl group LE SSERAFIM.
Career
2022: Debut with LE SSERAFIM
On April 6, she was introduced as the third member of LE SSERAFIM.[3] They debuted on May 2, 2022 with the mini album Fearless.
2023-2024: Music Bank
On February 3, 2023, it was announced that Eunchae would be joining actor Lee Chae Min as the new MC of Music Bank and would have her first broadcast taking place on February 10, replacing IVE's Jang Wonyoung as the previous MC.[4]
On September 12, 2024, it was announced Eunchae would be stepping down as the MC of Music Bank.[5] Eunchae would also go on to host her own web variety show called Eunchae's Star Diary interviewing K-pop idols every week.[6]
Personal life
Health
On October 3, 2022, Source Music released a statement stating that Eunchae had tested positive for COVID-19 after experiencing symptoms of cold.[7]
On February 1, 2024, Source Music announced that Eunchae would be sitting out the February 2 broadcast of Music Bank after experiencing symptoms of a fever.[8]
