Galaxy of 2PM

Galaxy of 2PM (stylized in all-caps) is the fifth Japanese studio album by 2PM. It was released on April 27, 2016 with "Higher" serving as the album's title track.

The physical album comes in seven editions: Regular, Limited Editions A, B, C, and D, Repackage and Limited Repackage.

Commercial performance

On May 3, 2016, Galaxy of 2PM peaked at #1 on Japan's Oricon's weekly albums chart, and sold approximately 96,000 copies on its first week of release.^[1] This is the fourth time that 2PM has set a record in Japan. The first was for Republic of 2PM in 2011, which sold 74,000 copies.^[2]

Galaxy of 2PM debuted at #1 on the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart.^[3] It also debuted at #1 on the Top Album Sales chart.^[4]

On May 4, 2016, the Recording Industry Association of Japan awarded Galaxy of 2PM a golden certification.^[5]
