"Crush"	"Will -Korean Version-"

Alive is the second Japanese EP by IVE. It was released on August 28, 2024 with "Crush" serving as the album's title track.

"Crush" was pre-released on August 7, 2024.

The physical release comes in ten versions: Limited A (CD+Blu-ray), Limited B (CD+Photobook), Regular Edition (CD only), Limited Production Edition (CD only) and Full Production Limited DIVE Edition (CD only) with six member-specific versions, only available for DIVE Japan members to purchase.

Background

On July 15, 2024, IVE announced they will release their second Japanese EP, Alive, on August 28, 2024.^[1] The EP features two original Japanese songs, including the title track "Crush" and "Will", which was previously released as the opening theme of the anime Pokémon. Moreover, the Japanese versions of their previous title songs "I Am", "Off the Record" and "Baddie" will be included.

Commercial performance

On September 9, 2024 the Recording Industry of Japan (RIAJ) reported that Alive was certified gold in Japan after reaching 100,000 units shipped.^[2]

Alive was ranked #21 on the 2024 Billboard Japan's Hot Album Year End chart.^[3]

On November 7, 2024, Alive was certified platinum in Japan after reaching 250,000 units shipped.^[4]
