Ahra (Korean: 아라; Japanese: アラ) is a South Korean singer and model under MMWe Models. She is a former member of the girl group FAVORITE.
Career
2016: K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance
Ahra first appeared as a contestant on the competition show K-Pop Star 6: The Last Chance. During her time on the show, she was part of the Minari unit. The unit made it to the semi-finals, being eliminated in episode 20.[citation needed]
2017–2021: FAVORITE, MIXNINE
Following the conclusion of K-pop Star 6, it was announced on June 13, 2017 that Ahra was set to debut in Astory Entertainment's new girl group, FAVORITE.[1]
The group officially debuted on July 5, 2017 with their first mini album My Favorite.
In October 2017, she, alongside fellow members Junghee and Seoyeon, became contestants on the survival show MIXNINE. Ahra was eliminated in episode 13 after ranking 21st place.[2]
Following their final release "Lie" on March 11, 2020, FAVORITE became inactive along with Astory and not much was known until July 5, 2024 when Sae Bom confirmed that the girl group had actually quietly disbanded following 4 years of inactivity.[3]
2023–present: Model beginnings
Since at least early 2023, Ahra has been signed as a model to the Chinese model agency MMWe. She has since relocated to Hangzhou, China to continue her work.

She graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul on February 13, 2020.[4]
