Xue Ti (onyomi: Setsu Tei) was an official that served under Cao Cao and helped protect the warlord's base when it was invaded by Lu Bu. He later acted as a supervisor at Hefei to ensure that Zhang Liao, Yue Jin, and Li Dian followed their lord's commands to the word.
Role in Games
During Dynasty Warriors 6: Special, he acts as one of Cao Ren's generals at Hefei, while 7 relegates him to being one of the defenders of Hefei Castle. In Wei's side of in 8, he will initially remain inside the castle, but may be forced to sortie if the front gates are destroyed. If the player is given the task to stop Lu Meng's rams, he will then order them to rescue Zhang Liao from Ling Tong and Gan Ning's ambush. In 9, he will be battling against Lu Dai over control of Xiaoshi Bridge.
He appear in the thirth and fourteenth installment of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. In the thirth, his stats are 49 war, 61 intelligence, 65 politics and 51 charm along with army proficiency is 42 and navy proficiency is 17. In the fourteenth, his stats are 45 leadership, 19 war, 65 intelligence, 76 politics and 78 charm. He have a good relationship with Chen Jiao and Gaotang Long.
Historical Information
He was from Dongjun in Yan Province, enter served Cao Cao and became an assistant officer. He took part in the defense of three districts include Juancheng, Fan and Dong'e from Lu Bu's attack. When Cao Pi founded Wei, he was given the peerage as a secondary marquis along with Wang Si and Xi Jia. He also be the governor of Weijun and the Prefect of the Masters of Writing. During the reign of Cao Rui, he and Du Xi followed Sima Yi to fight against Shu and the both offered to send supplies to Longyou, in advance to prevent from Shu's invasion of supplies. Then, he and the others agreed with Cao Rui's plans to improve the new calendar system. He succeeded the deceased Chen Jiao and his details were unknown after that.
