Musha Gundam (武者 頑駄無 Musha Gandamu) is a Prototype Close Quarters Combat Mobile Suit sharing physical traits of the Gundam but is fully armored with a red samurai armor similar in color with Yukimura Sanada's armor and coins decals. The mobile suit has been discovered on a unknown planet with the Musha Gundam MKII by it side. Instead of conventional Beam weapon selection, the Musha Gundam uses the Tanegashima Gun, which is a MS size Sengoku era gun shooting explosive rounds, the Jumonji Yari, a MS size Yukimura Sanada's Yari spears, Nichirinmaru Katana and Denkoumaru Naginata. Compared to beam weapon, those antique styled weapon use a small amount of energy to power the weapon.

In the third title, players can unlock a unique ability for Musha Gundam with the following special requirements.
- Mars Drive: Attack is increased when a male gender pilots the Musha Gundam
- How to obtain: Reach Rank 1 in Online mode, or complete The Return of the True Dynasty Warrior Gundam mission.
Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn
Attacks are the same as previous title with Smash Attack. Its attacks are slightly stronger than before.

Ultimate Musou (holding): Smash the ground to pose, create a guard breaking shockwave and create a powerful shockwave destroying all enemies in the current field. (previously a CPU only attack)

The following section is for Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2.
- How to obtain License: Complete the License mission Aratama
Aratama
- Difficulty: 6/8

How to obtain permission to get Lvl 4 parts: the only way to unlock Musha Gundam Lvl 4 parts is to complete the extra mission: "The True DYNASTY WARRIORS: GUNDAM".
- Have a pilot be friends with at least 40 other characters and finish the "Power of Bonds" Extra Mission.
- Once this pilot has completed at least 50 missions, choose to complete the Free Mission, "50 Missions Completed".
- Accumulate a sum of at least 50,000 shot down foes with the playable cast and complete the Free Mission, "50,000 Enemies Shot Down".
- Have the same character retain maximum friendship ratings with the playable cast of the first game to complete all six "Remember the Past" Missions. This unlocks "Remember the Past 7". Complete this stage to unlock Musha Gundam's License Mission, "Aratama".
- With the same character, obtain the licenses for all other Mobile Suits and then obtain Musha Gundam's license.
- If all of the requirements have been met, Musha Gundam MK II's License Mission, "Nigitama", should be unlocked. Complete it to gain its license.
- Then complete the Extra Mission for Musha Gundam's Part 4s, "One Man Army".
- After clearing "One Man Army", clear Musha Gundam MK II's Extra Mission, "Challenge the Legend".
- When "Power of Bonds", "One Man Army", and "Challenge the Legend" are completed, the final mission of the game will be made available.
