John Fastolf (ジョン・ファストルフ) is an English knight who fought many battles during the Hundred Years' War. He was considered to be a military genius who favored conservative decisions. John Talbot's death and his apparent refusal to save the famous general severely damaged his reputation upon his return from the war front.

Role in Game

Bladestorm: Nightmare has Fastolf side with Magnus and the player after being saved by their ability to control monsters. While seemingly all too ready to escape the botched battle at Normandy, he immediately dashes to the east route to cut off the monster army's advance, putting himself at deep risk. If the player approaches him alone, Fastolf will give in to his wounds and die. But if Talbot is brought to his side, he will survive and contribute to the final showdown by slowing down the enemy forces alongside his partner.
