Huang Shao is a Yellow Turban officer from Runan in Ye Province and a commander who fought alongside He Yi and He Man. After the Yellow Turbans had fallen, he became a bandit who ravaged the Runan area. He was later taken prisoner by Li Dian and executed.
Role in Games
Huang Shao appears in Dynasty Warriors 4 during the Yellow Turban Rebellion. He defends the western wall in the Yellow Turban Menace. At the Yellow Turban rebellion itself, Huang shao fights as one of Zhang Jiao's lieutenants, protecting their main camp. In Dynasty Warriors 5, Shao reprises his role at the Yellow Turban Rebellion, this time defending the southern entrance to their main camp. Dynasty Warriors 7 has Huang Shao rush down the central mountain path once the front lines of the Yellow Turbans is defeated. Huang Shao appears again at Yan Province, defending the northwest garrison alongside Bian Xi. Once the base falls, Xu Zhu appears to break up the fighting.
