Dian Man (onyomi: Ten Man) is Dian Wei's son and a vassal of Wei. He succeeded his father as one of Cao Cao's bodyguards when the latter perished at Wan Castle. Upon Cao Pi's ascension, Dian Man was promoted to commandant and later became a marquis.
Roles in Games
In the Dynasty Warriors series, Dian Man is a generic officer who only appears in Wei's later campaigns like Dongkou and Wuzhang Plains.
Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed features Dian Man as a particularly strong foe in the Battle of Mt. Dingjun. Mocked for his inexperience by Huang Zhong, he undergoes a state of rage which renders him immune to damage until the player lets him tire out.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms has him be active in scenarios where Wei is among the strongest factions. His stats pale in comparison to his father, though players can still give him similar tasks for additional support.
