Games
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
The toboggan appears exclusively in Stage 1 of Shiver Star. Kirby stops for a moment and Waddle Dee comes up behind him in the toboggan. Waddle Dee is unable to control it, however, and crashes into Kirby, knocking the hero into the back of the vessel. They then ride it across the snowy landscape. The toboggan defeats any enemy it hits without damaging its passengers. Pressing A causes the vessel to jump, enabling Kirby to collect items and dodge logs or shallow pits. If the toboggan hits an obstacle, it flips over it and continues down the path, leaving Kirby with one point of damage.
At the end of the sequence, Kirby and Waddle Dee panic before crashing into a snow-covered structure. Both characters are launched into the air. Waddle Dee lands head-down in the snow while Kirby bounces through an igloo entrance to fight a Chilly Room Guarder.
The toboggan operates identically to the raft in Stage 2 of Aqua Star and the Mine Cart in Stage 2 of Neo Star.

Trivia
- When the toboggan crashes into the final obstacle and bounces off its snow-covered top, brown rocks fly up instead of snow. It is unclear why this happens.
