"Roundabout" is a short in Disney's Road Trip series, and the second short in the series to be focused on Kiff.
Synopsis
Principal Secretary gets stuck driving the school bus in a roundabout while on a field trip with his students.
Plot
On the way to Historical Chairsburg, the school bus gets stuck in traffic circling a roundabout, to the discomfort of Barry, who has come down with motion sickness. Helen encourages Principal Secretary to be a more aggressive driver, but he insists on driving safely and waiting for the right moment to leave the circle. Barry ends up vomiting out the window in full view of the other commuters, unintentionally clearing the traffic and allowing the bus to drive on. The scene cuts to a card reading "37 Miles Left".
Transcript
- Principal Secretary: Ugh, come on. Will anyone let this bus over? We have a field trip to attend!
- Drivers: Get out of the way!
- ...I'm driving here!
- Barry: Why are we driving around in a [belch] circle?
- Principal Secretary: We're stuck in a roundabout, Barry. A road where traffic travels counterclockwise. I need to get over, but one of our fellow commuters hasn't let me in yet!
- Helen: You need to be aggressive! If you don't stand up for yourself, people will take advantage of you.
- Principal Secretary: Is that my lunch?
- Helen: Yes. And no.
- Kiff: Uh-huh, could, could you try a bit harder?
- Barry: Everything's spinning!
- Principal Secretary: Now, now, safety is of the utmost importance. We just need to wait for the right moment.
- Helen: It's been 20 minutes!
- Kiff: Can we hurry? Barry's turning green!
- Helen: And what is wrong with that?
- Kiff: Uh, nothing! He looks great!
- Barry: That's it. I can't take it anymore.
- [Vomiting sounds and honking]
- Drivers: Disgusting!
- Oh, my!
- I just had this waxed!
- Whoa, that's a lot of—
- What is happening?
- Principal Secretary: Oh, will you look at that? All the traffic has cleared. I wonder why.
