Sumomo (すもも, Sumomo)is a character in Keroro Gunso. She is a pink alien singer (junior student at a famous girls' private school in the manga) that sings pop music for teenagers. She came to Earth so that she could become a popular idol so she can spread her music all over the world. She is very seductive and makes boys fall head over heels for her which is one of the things that gets her a lot of fans.
Character
Sumomo is a pop star. Like the manga, she does not know Earth's customs, but Natsumi and Fuyuki help her. Unlike the manga, she does not have a crush on Fuyuki, but Keroro has a crush on her. Sumomo's song at the end of the episode is Koisuru Shooting Star.
Appearance
Sumomo has pink skin and three blunted gills on the sides of her head. Sumomo's symbol is a red heart and is seen on her stomach and cap. In her human form, it can be seen on her shirt and on her hair.
Relationships
Haruyo - Haruyo and Sumomo are partners in the manga.

History
According to Sumomo, she wants to be recognized by everyone in space especially in Earth. She performed the stage in her human form, as she became popular in Earth easily, which was successful and much to Keroro's dismay.
Manga
In Volume 5, Chapter 29.5, "Sumomo, A Mission of Love", a young girl, named Haruyo, finds Sumomo. Sumomo does not know Earth's customs. Haruyo's father finds Sumomo, and like Keroro, was converted into a comic book character and is staying with Haruyo. She has a crush on Fuyuki and tries to "kiss" him by wrapping her tongue around him.
Trivia
- In the manga Sumomo's human form wears a somewhat revealing outfit exposing some cleavage. This is possible due to her wanting an appealing appearance.
