Taro (太郎) is an elephant from the anime series Keroro Gunso.
Taro was a zoo elephant shot with Kururu's "We Can Make Everyone Alive" gun. He was asked to join Keroro's animal army, but he kept stalling with stories from his past.
History
Taro's first encounter in the zoo was with a little girl with red shoes. His next encounter was with her and her daughter, and the last time he saw her was when she was old. He has been through a lot of moments both happy and sad.
Appearance
Taro's humanoid form is a parody of Toki from Fist of the North Star.

Taro appears to enjoy telling his stories to them. They also see themselves as Taro's apprentices.
