Matsui Goro

Matsui Goro (松井五郎) is a lyricist. His career began after he participated in the Yamaha Popular Music Contest in 1979, which led him to working for Yamaha. His first works, songs on CHAGE and ASKA's album Neppuu, were released in 1981. He is now one of J-pop's most prolific lyricists with over 3,000 songs written.
