The Wedge is a seasonal vehicle featured as the grand prize for Season 23: To the 80's. Modeled by D4EAMER, this angular sports car features animated pop-up headlights, doors, and excellent styling.[1]

The Wedge could have been obtained by reaching Level 10 through Contracts. It could have been found at the Season Hypezone during Season 23.

Overview

Appropriately named, the Wedge is a vehicle that harnesses the best of many classic vehicles while having its own unique twist. The Wedge has several confirmed vehicles that it pulls design cues from, such as the Vector W8, the Ferrari F40, and the Toyota Sera in its doors. The vehicle also takes hints from the Lamborghini Diablo and the Ferrari Testarossa. The Wedge also features an engine visible through a glass engine bay cover and through vents at the rear. The Wedge skillfully combines all of these inspirations into a vehicle that is the ultimate embodiment of the 80s.

Performance

The Wedge has incredible performance for a seasonal vehicle. It has amazing top speed, making it second fastest seasonal vehicle in contract-based seasons, and third fastest seasonal overall, only slower than the Beignet and Torpedo. Also it has very good acceleration and good reverse speed.

It has fantastic off-road ability for a super/hypercar. It has a good handling, which is comparable to the many vehicles. And it has below-average durability, which is comparable to the many super/hypercars.

Overall, the Wedge is fantastic vehicle and worth grinding for it.

The Wedge has a speed burst of around 67 MPH in a single second. Beating the XRK and comparable to the Arachnid but slightly losing to the Eclaire and Beignet. The Wedge's acceleration is surprisingly good. It can go faster than 200 MPH in just 8-9 seconds, making it comparable to well-performed vehicles such as the Beignet and slightly losing to the Eclaire. However it loses to both cars in high-end acceleration helping both to catch up more easily.

Due to it having a turning value of 1.4. The Wedge's handling is pretty decent overall. Comparable to majority of the vehicles in this game, especially Torero. However like Beignet, it has relatively good grip, and doesn’t lose much speed while making turns. Unlike nearly all supercars and hypercars in the game, Wedge can easily cross through rails without much issues which is a huge advantage for the car. It also climbs hills really well and can easily climb the Crown Jewel slopes without any difficulty. It’s off-roading is comparable to Torpedo.
