The Posh (previously named the Porsche) is a retired open-top sports car in Jailbreak. It seats two players, with the player in the passenger seat being able to use weapons while in the car.
Overview
The Posh was once one of the fastest vehicles in-game and one of the few vehicles to allow passengers to shoot out while driving, but over time it has become slower than many other vehicles in its price range, and its primary selling feature (using items as a passenger) has been added to almost every other vehicle.
The Posh used to spawn in the Museum parking lot, making it somewhat practical as a getaway vehicle to go to the Volcano Criminal Base after exiting the robbery. This spawn was then replaced by the Boxer.
The Posh's retirement was first mentioned by asimo3089[1] when he replied to someone complaining about the Drone's price, mentioning the addition of a lower-priced vehicle (later revealed to be the Boxer), and it seemed to coincide with the official retirement of the Posh.[2]
The Posh is now unobtainable, but it can be spawned anywhere with the Free Mobile Garage. Not much has changed about the Posh other than receiving pinstripes (which would be later removed) and being renamed to the Posh.
Performance
Originally, the Posh was a great vehicle. When it was first added, it was faster than most Jailbreak vehicles except for La Matador and Brulee, making it the third fastest vehicle at the time. It had a unique feature that allowed players to shoot while sitting in the passenger seat due to the open roof.
As of the July 2022 Update, the vehicle is still fairly good, now being able to beat the Model 3, Jeep and even the Cybertruck. It is also able to tie with the Celestial. However, it is a bit behind the La Matador and Jackrabbit.

Trivia
- The Posh was theorized to be based on the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder. However, its performance, size, and price suggested that it was based on a Porsche Boxster, as it performs like a sports car, whereas the 918 Spyder is a hypercar.
- After the Boxer's addition, this was debunked. The Posh is likely based off no particular model and appears to be multiple Porsche models combined into one.
- The vehicle used to spawn near the waterfall in addition to the current Radio Tower spawn, but the waterfall spawn was replaced by the Ferrari, which was later moved to the Train Station.
- The developers said that the Posh was going to be faster than most cars and it was at the time, but as more cars were added the Posh became one of the slower cars in the game.
- The Posh is used for teaser images of the Season 4 Level 25 and 50 prizes, and the R8 is used for the rest. The rocket fuel reward was used by the Model 3.
- The sirens are located at the back of the vehicle, unlike most vehicles that can equip a siren.
- As of the Blade Update, you can change the seat color of this car. This trait is also shared with the Jeep.
- This is the only vehicle to be retired on its own, as usually other vehicles are retired alongside an outgoing vehicle.
Miscellaneous Trivia
- This is the first Porsche-branded vehicle added to Jailbreak, with the second being the Boxer, the third being the Icebreaker and the fourth being the Proto-08.
- The Posh is the car that has been used to tease the most amount of customization parts for vehicles. This includes colors, rims, and spoilers.
- This was the sixth car ever added to the game, after the Camaro, Model 3, Helicopter, La Matador and the SWAT Van.
- This is the first car to have an interior.
- This is the first open-top car to be added in Jailbreak, followed by the Classic, Jeep and Boxer.
- The Posh has a 4-speed transmission.
- This is one of eight German-based cars in Jailbreak, the other seven being the JB8, which is based on the second-generation Audi R8, the SWAT Van, based on the first-generation Mercedes-Benz G-Class, the Boxer, based on the Porsche 718 Boxster, the Beam Hybrid, which is based on the BMW i8, the Icebreaker, which is based on the Porsche Taycan, the Proto-08, which is based on Porsche Mission R and the Poseidon, which is based on the Mercedes Maybach 6 Cabriolet.
- The Boxer and SWAT Van are the only German-based cars still in Jailbreak.
- In the Spring 2021 Update, the Posh, SUV and Megalodon all got pinstripes.
- However after the Return of 5 Days of Vehicles update, the pinstripes of all retired vehicles were removed, and each now include a "CLASSIC" plaque on the rear end.
