Professor Orwell (オーウェル) is Foresta's grandfather, ancestor of Massea and Niena's alchemy teacher in Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand. When he noticed an anomaly in the barrier that enclosed the city of Kefin he sent Niena to the physical world to restore the seal.
He is working with the Partisans to put a stop to the human sacrifices in Kefin. He comes up with a way to save the citizens by using the bracelet that Adol had in his possession.
