Melye

The melye (メライ^?) and the krimelye (クリメライ^?) are the units of length in the Ys World. The manual of the PC-88 version of Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished: Omen states that one melye is about 1.2 meters long. Similarly, one krimelye is about 1.2 kilometers long.

Etymology

The word seems to be a combination of "metre" and "mile".
