Licht

Licht (リヒト^?) is the substitute doctor of the Lombardia after the ship's primary doctor fell ill, only to end up among the castaways after the ship sank.

Appearance

Licht is a freckled young man with combed blonde hair and green eyes. He wears a white collar shirt and a blue necktie under a green sweater vest and the sailor's uniform of the Lombardia, black trousers, and brown boots.

Personality

Licht is a timid man who is easily startled by unfamiliar situations, and though he is very knowledgeable and insightful, he lacks confidence in his abilities as a doctor due to lack of field experience.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana

First seen by Adol at the lower decks of the Lombardia as he patrols, Licht was just a new recruit of the ship and their only medical personnel. He murmurs his regret on boarding the ship and his position, since he is unsure if he can handle his job.

Soon after he is found on the Isle of Seiren, and after the events of the Nameless Ripper, he becomes the doctor of Castaway Village.

Character Notes

Licht A timid young man who is overwhelmed by his current situation, and worries about those around him. Medical Resident A medical resident who hopes to become a full-fledged doctor. While observant and insightful, he lacks confidence. Life Savior He was inspired to study medicine after his doctor saved his life from an illness many years ago. Breakthrough Believes in himself, thanks to Adol's encouragement, and has resumed pursuing his dreams of becoming a doctor.
