Summary
Ginka is still partially alive as he is being absorbed, as his lightning is still attacking Mōryōmaru. Kinka sees that he and Ginka share the same feelings of regret and charges at Mōryōmaru. Mōryōmaru is hurt by the combined force of Ginka's lightning and Kinka's fire, and angrily strikes Kinka in the chest. Mortally wounded, Kinka falls to the ground. Ginka is then completley absorbed, and Inuyasha moves between Mōryōmaru and Kinka .
Inuyasha apologizes to Kinka for not being able to keep him and his brother uninvolved in the conflict. Kinka asks if Inuyasha will kill Mōryōmaru with his sword, and when Inuyasha tells him he will Kinka allows himself to be absorbed by the Tessaiga. Inuyasha attacks Mōryōmaru, who is hurt by the combined power of Ginka's lightning and Kinka's fire, which still respond to one another in death.
Kanna watches on from a distance, accompanied by Saimyōshō and aknowledges that the barrier around the baby inside Mōryōmaru has broken.
