Chapter 428

Appointment With Fate (運命の出会い, Ummei no Deai, "Fateful Encounter") is the four hundred and twenty-eighth chapter of Initial D.

Plot

Itsuki tells Iketani about everything that had happened, and Iketani agrees that Takumi should do something about it, as Project D has a reputation to protect.

Takumi and Itsuki go on a drive, and Itsuki thinks the impostors must have spent so much time studying Project D's website. Takumi says that what the impostor had said about his control has made him think about where he went wrong during his race on Tsukuba. Takumi thinks that compared to Joshima, the impostors are nothing.

At the gas station, Iketani tells Kenji about the Impostors, when they are approached by a girl, Mika Uehara, who is looking for Takumi.

Iketani rings Itsuki asking for Takumi, and the pair return to the gas station. When they arrive, Mika approaches Takumi and slaps him.
