Behind the scenes
Frank Darabont's script Indiana Jones and the City of the Gods, one of the many screenplays considered for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, originally had the statue erected in Marcus Brody's memory indicate that Marcus was born in 1882.[9] James Luceno's reference book Indiana Jones: The Ultimate Guide would canonically confirm that Marcus was born in 1872 instead.[10]
