"Thank you for the compliments Mrs. Hirahara... but I'm dressing for myself tonight. I thought it was time I start valuing myself more." -Meg
Megan "Meg" Cho is a supporting character in I Love Yoo. She is the older sister of Alyssa Cho and was previously romantically obsessed with Kousuke Hirahara. She is currently studying for her Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Personality
Megan is an outgoing woman who can be quite determined at times, especially when pursuing Kousuke in the early episodes. However, after the formal she changes, becoming more subdued and focused on her studies.
Appearance
Megan has straight brown hair styled in a bob and amber-colored eyes. Megan is seen wearing cat-eyed make-up. It is shown that she hates to get her makeup ruined. Her eyes slant slightly downwards, much like her sister, Alyssa. Without her makeup, she has small, thin eyebrows in comparison to the other characters.
She wore a long sleeve formal two-piece black dress to the Kim's formal.
Relationships
Kousuke Hirahara

Meg has an infatuation with Kousuke began years prior, when she was attending the same university as his cousin, Hansuke Shishido. When she was struggling, questioning if she should continue with engineering, he encouraged her, telling her that they need more women in STEM.
After this, Meg began obsessively pursuing Kousuke, something which bothered him greatly. Despite saying he was not going to reciprocate her feelings several times, even showing up at his workplace in Episode 15 and Episode 30.
However, things started to change after the formal. Meg came to Kousuke's workplace in Episode 76 but ended up deciding not to go up and see him, instead opting to leave and go to WacDonald's with Shin-Ae. She seems to have matured, and when telling Shin-Ae about her pursuit of Kousuke, she says "I already know the outcome… it always ends the same anyways. I guess I was foolish for hoping for something different in the first place…"
She also tells Alyssa in Episode 110 that she was a "troubled woman" when she was obsessed with Kousuke.
She avoided him at the Christmas party, but she made attempts to help him in Episode 213, brining him some hot chocolate. However, he is unappreciative and still wary of her.

Shin-Ae Yoo
Meg and Shin-Ae first met when Shin-Ae came to her house looking for Alyssa in Episode 189. Meg treated her quite rudely when she answered the door. They both recognized each other when they next met.
Megan initially showcased a strong dislike for Shin-Ae, seeing her as a romantic rival for Kousuke's feelings. She interrogated Shin-Ae for information about her personal life, in an effort to outshine her.

This dislike towards Shin-Ae would soon be put aside when she found an empty drug bottle at the Black and White formal hosted by Mr. Kim. Meg first tried to warn Kousuke, who brushed her off. Luckily, Yeong-Gi listened to Megan's warnings that Shin-Ae was in danger.
On Shin-Ae's first day at the Hirahara Corp., Meg saw her fall over while she was entering to visit Kousuke. Meg was hesitant to help Shin-Ae at first, but she ended up helping her anyway. After this, they went to WacDonald's and Meg was glad to see Shin-Ae is doing okay. Shin-Ae never got to thank Meg for helping her at the party and tried to give her Kousuke's coat, but Meg refused and appreciated the gesture. After this, Shin-Ae invited her to Min-Hyuk's party, much to Meg's surprise.
Ever since then, the two have been more cordial, although they have not interacted much.
Alyssa Cho
Meg is Alyssa's older sister, and they seem to have a good relationship, calling each other semi-frequently. However, in episode 165 it is shown that Meg is upset that Alyssa gets more attention and support from her parents.
Yui Hirahara
Yui has been influential on Meg's obsession with Kousuke, encouraging her to chase after him in Episode 29 by promising to go with her so Kousuke won't spray her (a promise that Yui doesn't fulfill).
Later, in Episode 164, when Meg has stopped pursuing Kousuke, Yui attempts to restart her interest by offering to help her get a gift for him to "get [her] on his good side." However, when this happens Meg attempts to distance herself from Yui.
Yeong-Gi
Yeong-Gi is Alyssa's boyfriend. Considering Alyssa's lack of contact with Nol, Meg most likely doesn't see him much. However, they worked together during the Kim Formal to find Shin-Ae.
Yu Jing
In Episode 115, Shin-Ae directs Yu Jing to Meg as someone who can give her details about what happened during the formal. Yu Jing tells Shin-Ae that Meg wasn't fond of her since she was one of Kousuke's female friends and that she "laid some harsh truths on her at some point". However, they went to Alyssa's Christmas performance together.
Parents

Meg has a troublesome relationship with her parents. Unlike Alyssa, she tends to deviate from their standards, which has led to fights with their father, as shown in Episode 190 and Episode 243. While not shown explicitly, it seems like her father has hit her during these fights.
The biggest strain on Meg's relationship with her parents is her education. They are upset with the time that she is taking to get her education, and how she has switched her major several times. In Episode 116, it is shown that her parents, specifically her father, don't believe she can succeed in engineering.
