Hank Shaw was a member of Far Zenith, and also a member of Project Zero Dawn.
History
The details surrounding Hank Shaw's early life is unknown, although it is known that he had a friendship with Travis Tate[1] and was a member of Far Zenith.
Project Zero Dawn
Hank was an inside agent for Far Zenith within Project Zero Dawn,[2] tasked with beamcasting a full copy of GAIA and her subordinate functions to the Far Zenith Launch Facility's Data Center[3] in exchange for premium accommodations for his berth aboard the Odyssey, which Far Zenith agreed to, but never intended to give him a berth at all. He worked as a Beta for the HADES subordinate function,[2] working alongside Travis, the Alpha of HADES.[1]
At some point, Ted Faro coerced Hank into installing Omega Clearance into the Zero Dawn system, capable of superseding Alpha authority and giving Faro complete control over the project if he so desired, successfully keeping this install secret from all other Zero Dawn staff, including GAIA herself. An unknown source discovered this and informed Far Zenith, but they deemed it irrelevant for their goals and made no effort to warn the Zero Dawn staff.[2]
Unfortunately for Hank, Travis discovered his plans with Far Zenith and confronted him about it[1] on June 16, 2065.[4] Travis noise tortured Hank into giving him the transmit code to use later before having Hank taken away by security.[1]
