Elika is a mentioned only character in Horizon Forbidden West.
History
Elika and her sister, Alva, grew up in a peasant family.[1]
When Alva passed the Divination exams, Elika and her parents were so proud of her, but Elika begged Alva not to leave for the Research Academy as doing so meant Alva couldn't visit them without special permission and an escort from an Overseer, but this did not sway Alva. Due to Alva's position, it brought honor to her family and increased rations given to them, as well as getting them refuge from the floods within the Quen capital.[1]
The last time Alva was allowed to visit her family was before leaving on the Eastern Expedition.[1] At that point, Elika was fourteen and her bones were visible due to starvation.[2]
