Aunia

History

Aunia was among the Quen selected for the Eastern Expedition to San Francisco. During the voyage, the fleet was split in two, with Aunia's half winding up stranded in the Burning Shores with no clue regarding the fate of the others.

Aunia would later be among the Quen sent out on a scouting expedition and go missing. Walter Londra came across the group and, using their worship of the Ancestors to his advantage, manipulated them into serving him by promising "the Ascension" for those who followed him. Aunia and Brenik were tasked with guarding one of the doors to Heaven's Rest.^[1]

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores

As Seyka, along with Aloy, approached them, Aunia happily greeted Seyka. As Seyka was about to question her, Aloy stepped in and pretended that they were there to join them. However, as Aloy wasn't of the Quen and wouldn't be allowed in by Zeth, Aunia and Brenik questioned her about it. Aloy and Seyka lied that while Seyka was being brought by Zeth, Aloy heroically saved them from machines, and Zeth sent the two of them onto Heaven's Rest without him. While skeptical, Aunia wasn't willing to risk one of Zeth's outbursts, choosing to let them through.^[1]

As Aloy made her way out of Heaven's Rest after it was revealed to the Quen there that Londra didn't care about them, Aunia was trying to keep everyone calm.^[1] Whether Aunia returned to Fleet's End or remained loyal to Londra after this point is unknown.
