Pekorin (ペコリン?) is the mascot of KiraKira☆Pretty Cure A La Mode. She is a puppy-like fairy who has always dreamed of meeting the legendary patissières Pretty Cure. She often tries to confront enemies to the pretty cures on her own, which has almost always led to her being defeated just as quickly as she stood up to her opponent in the first place. She ends her sentences with the word "~peko" (～ペコ?). Her pretty cure alter ego is Cure Pekorin (キュアペコリン?), the Pretty Cure of Hunger and Sparkles.
Biography
During a botched attempt to stop Gummy from stealing Kirakiraru for himself, Pekorin ram into Ichika Usami. While she immediately started asking the girl for food at first, Pekorin began to feel sympathy for Ichika when the girl expressed her sorrow over how distant her mother, Satomi, had become from her and her family thanks to her occupation as a doctor consuming a massive amount of her time and leaving her having to travel across the world constantly and spend much of her time away from her family. However, Gummy arrived to suck the Kirakiraru out of the cakes baked by Ichika. Peko Rin took off with the final piece of Kirakiraru left in a desparetae attempt to protect it. However, she was attacked by Gummy and left falling. Ichika quickly caught the young fairy, an event that led to her transformation into the pretty cure, Cure Whip.
Personality
Pekorin is a spoiled and gluttonous fairy who's always hungry, usually for sweets. She also loves making sweets almost as much as eating them, in spite of her clumsiness when doing so. However, she's still a kind-hearted and sweet fairy no matter what, and will always go out of her way to try and protect the cures no matter what.
