Mian Long, better known by his hero name Ming Ming Li, is a major supporting character in the superhero manga series Shy. He is the chosen hero of China.
He is voiced by Ayumu Murase in Japanese and by Emi Lo in English.
Appearance
Mian is a teenage boy of average height with a somewhat androgynous appearance. He has beautiful azure-colored eyes and black hair usually tied in a short braid and leaves two circular curls on top of her head. She wears a turquoise traditional Chinese qipao with golden linings covered under her white baggy attire with black linings and long sleeves hiding her hands. At her knee features frilly clothes and her attire finishes with a pair of black traditional Chinese slippers.
Personality
Mian primarily expresses his concerns and is insecure about how others view him due to his female-like impression. As a result, he tries his best to make himself appear more masculine. When Shy stated mentioned that he is a girl, Mian is saddened. Despite this, Mian prefers to avoid as much conflict and roughness as he can and will act if needed in his given role as the hero of her respective country.
Abilities
Mian is an expert in the field of the martial art, Kenpo, a Japanese-originated fighting style that remains in the tradition of his family, despite them being Chinese. She was showcased to be talented enough to handle the ice manipulation ability of Sveta Kooriskaya.
